Post-Sandy Mold Assistance Program Launches in New York City

The Robin Hood Foundation has announced the launch of a $15 million mold clean-up initiative to assist homeowners still recovering from Superstorm Sandy.
In partnership with Robin Hood and the American Red Cross, the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City is sponsoring the program, which seeks to remove mold in two thousand homes damaged by Sandy. Neighborhood Revitalization NYC, an affiliate of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, will administer the program and coordinate mold remediation efforts, which will be performed at no cost to the homeowner by private contractors and nonprofit organizations.  For more on this, click here.
